ANIKA JADEN CORDERO

Fourteen-year-old, Annika Cordero, is a Grade 9 student at Temple Hill International School, has been immersed in music from a young age. Her parents, both musicians, nurtured her love for music by providing her voice and piano lessons. Annika has participated in both major and minor events, including a recent major role as Rafiki in her school's production of The Lion King, one of Temple Hill's biggest year-end performances. In addition to her theatrical performances, Annika has also showcased her piano skills in numerous recitals, particularly those held by the Piano Teachers' Guild of the Philippines. She has also joined the Kundiman, Kwentuhan, Katuwaan online recital organized by Performatibo Manila.

 

Her piano teacher is Teacher Ruby Salvosa and her former voice teacher was Ms. Danika Fernandez.

 

JOSHUA C. QUIEC

Joshua is a Grade 6 student at Temple Hill International School. He has been taking piano lessons with Teacher Ruth Cordero since Grade 1. At the same time, his love for music extends to violin, drum kit, theater arts, recorder, and voice under Teacher William Cordero. He has participated in numerous recital including the Suzuki Annual Violin Recital, Piano Teachers' Guild festivals, annual musicals at Temple Hill, and other various musical events. Aside from music, Joshua is active in robotics and he has been part of the school's delegation to Montessori Model United Nations in Rome, Italy.

 

Today, Joshua will be performing both voice and piano.

 

SALVADOR R. PLEYTO III

Salvador Pleyto III, or Thirdy for short, is a Grade 8 student at Temple Hill International School. His passion for singing began during his elementary years and continues to this day. Thirdy enjoys singing jazz and pop songs, which he performs well and will undoubtedly continue to do so in school-sponsored events. His talents also include dancing and other rhythmic movements, which he uses to accompany his songs.

 

Thirdy has participated in musical theater at Temple Hill and recently played one of the three meerkats in the school's production of The Lion King. He has also performed in a show called KKK (Kwentuhan, Kundiman at Katuwaan), which was streamed online with other performers to promote Filipino music. Thirdy is currently under the tutelage of Mr. William Cordero, an award-winning music and voice teacher, who has been his vocal mentor from a very young age to the present.

 

CEAN ERHYS C. ABRIGONDA

Cean Abrigonda, a Grade 4 scholar at Temple Hill International School, is a talented musician and artist. He started voice lessons in Grade 2 and now plays the violin, marimba, and xylophone in the school's Mallet Arts Kids Ensemble (MAKE). Cean recently shined as Young Simba in the Temple Hill's The Lion King production. Besides music, he also enjoys painting and other visual arts.

 

His voice teacher is Mr. William Lloyd Cordero.
